Selected Film
Visually steeped in Nahua culture and woven with Indigenous symbolism. Jaime walks home and finds more than he was looking for, after a night of too many drinks and microaggressions, . He is unjustly picked up by the police and while detained, experiences visions and symbols of his repressed heritage. After he is released the next morning, he comes face to face with a coywolf and a revelation of self. Jaime meets his Nawal and his eyes have been opened and there’s no turning back. Additionally, if we are selected for a festival we would love to offer Aztec Danza as part of the festival's program if there's availability.
