Inspired by the cultural legacy and view of the world that Jalq'as women have. As the fabrics are an expression of the living cultures that still maintain ancient traditions in our country, this production allows us to value this ancestral knowledge, its historical notion about the effects of colonialism and globalization, as well as its vital need to transmit the particularities of the artisanal weaving process. Knowing the efforts, limitations and ambitions of Jalq'a women will not only allow us to dissect the network of conditions of their work, it will also serve to understand how imaginaries and possible worlds are created as a counterweight to the global cultural crisis, where homogeneity.
