In Obelus, a remote planet in the universe, lives a solitary people in a rocky environment degraded by a strange climatic upheaval. At sunset, a large cloud of smoke invades the village and makes the air unbreathable and toxic. Which drives the inhabitants of Obelus to lock themselves in their sealed cores before each sunset. For them, the beauty of the night is only a legend. Baba, a little child hunter, befriends Buju, an old tramp scientist, on a wheelchair. One day, old Buju mysteriously disappears, leaving Baba a watch, the key to a scientific landmark which contains the solution to freeing Obelus from the hands of the mysterious “Bison on Fire” clan. Baba then sets himself the mission, with Mbeuw his faithful dog, to fight this power and defend his people.
