F*CK FAME sheds light on the underground feminist HipHop movement in Mexico through the lens of an all femme hiphop collective crew called Batallones Femeninos. This documentary also includes their latest single “Éxodus,” a song in solidarity with all those that have continuously risked their lives migrating in hopes of a better future and that visibilices continuous forced migration, deportation and all those that lost their lives in the process. Batallones Femeninos is an underground autonomous, activist, feminist Hip-Hop collective crew that started in 2009, in what is now known as the borderland of Mexico/United States in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuhua, Mexico. Through the element of rap, their voices are amplified on the rhythm of strength and union to denounce feminicide narco-states, murders, disappearances, migration, campaigns that have decided the rights over our bodies, and freedom to all political prisoners in the world. They have dedicated a large part of their lives to each performance over the past 15 years. Today, they move forward in solidarity with social movements and are clear that their goal is not for fame, but to create music for those who have been silenced. They are mujerxs, migrants, anti-colonial, anti-fascist, feminists, two-spirited, mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts, autonomous, activists, artisans, educators that practice critical consciousness and Hip-Hoopas. Este documental también incluye su último sencillo “Éxodus”, una canción en solidaridad con todxs aquellxs que continuan arriesgando sus vidas al migrar con la esperanza de un mejor destino y que visibiliza la migración forzada, la deportación y lxs que perdieron la vida en el proceso. Batallones Femeninos es una crew colectiva de hip-hop underground, autogestiva, artivista, feminista que comenzó en el 2009 en lo que hoy se conoce como la zona fronteriza entre México/Estados Unidos, Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, México. Desde el elemento del rap sus voces se amplifican y su ritmo visibiliza la fuerza de la unión y el trabajo conjunto para denunciar el narco-estado feminicida, los asesinatos, las desapariciones, la migración, las campañas por el derecho a decidir sobre nuestrxs curpxs, la libertad de lxs presxs políticxs en todo el mundo. Han dedicado gran parte de sus vidas en cada actuación durante los últimos 15 años. Hoy, siguen caminando en solidaridad con los movimientos sociales y tienen claro que su objetivó no es la fama sino crear música para quienes han sido silenciadxs. Son mujerxs, migrantes, anticoloniales, antifasistas, feministas, dos-espíritus, madres, hijas, hermanas, tías, autogestivas, activistas, artesanas, educadoras populares, Hip-Hoopas.
