San Bartolo Coyotepec is a community in the State of Oaxaca, Mexico. For the last 20 years a company has exploited millions of liters of water extracted from their land, after never finding a favorable legal response they took over the plant's facilities and began a movement in defense of their water and territory because they point out that no one consulted the community about the installation of the company. After a process plagued by corruption, cronyism, omissions and human rights violations, they will defend their water from those who have found an insatiable source of wealth, until they leave.
