Origins: Seven Indigenous Dances was commissioned by Indigenous Enterprise, an intertribal dance troupe, for their premiere at the historic Joyce Theater in New York in November 2021. They told the origin story behind each dance before corresponding dancers took to the stage. It was completed as a short film in 2023 to share with audiences worldwide.
