Ra Savi is the deity of the Mixtec community Ñuu Saavi, which translates as "the origin of the universe" of the town of San Andrés Huaxpaltepec, Oaxaca. The environmental impact and climate change forces year after year the villagers, led by the Tatamandones, the old wise men of the community, to make a pilgrimage to the cave of the Yucu Titti hill or hill of the iguana, to carry out the ritual of the petition for rain in the cave of the same.
